Heads Up! review
Heads up! This game is addictive! The gamer’s developers even warn you about this in the game’s titles. And The New York Times called the Heads Up! a "Sensation". The history of this game started on one of the most famous TV shows in America, where Ellen DeGeneres played it a million times. The game quickly becomes so popular that Warner Bros. decided to build an app. So, now everyone can play in Heads Up! with friends.
The rules are very simple. Commonly, all participants split out into groups before the game. The minimum quantity is two people. Every team has 60 seconds. One player has to hold the mobile phone above his head with a word on the screen. His task is to guess this word without looking at the screen, but it is allowed for friends to give him hints.
That’s all! After that, the app will count all the words you guess and compare with other players. More words - more chances to win. It is a great game to educate your children in an entertaining way or to play with friends in the bar. As you hold the phone above the head, and according to rules, you're not allowed to look at the screen, Heads Up! has one useful feature: you can draw a new card just by tilting your phone.
The game has different categories of cards. Among them are celebrities, movies, animals, accents, characters and lots more! Regularly, game’s developers add new thematic decks like Chinese New Year. Some categories may become a real challenge for your friends and you. Moreover, you can record a video of each round and share on the Facebook page directly from the app.
Nevertheless, a lot of users complain that the app stopped working in the middle of the game, or become a cause of phone resting.
The colors of the interface are mostly blue and white. The font is understandable, and navigation is very simple.
The unique option is that you can use not only a touchscreen to navigate inside the game, but also tilting the phone to the right or left to draw a new card.
Unfortunately, professional review of the Heads Up! app is not yet ready. This app is on the list and will be reviewed in the nearest feature. Meanwhile, you can find more from the official description below.
