Super City review
Can you imagine yourself as a comic book creator? With Super City, you can fulfill your dream easily! Super City or Superhero Sim is the greatest crossover of comic and non-comic universes. You can play for Avengers team or Justice League, or create your own superhero and defeat all of them. Check this Super City review to look more into the game details.
Super City game is a fun role-playing + adventure toy for both kids and adults. The game offers its own universe or, if you like, multiverse, where all possible comic characters from Marvel and DC universes are fighting with each other to control a certain city area. There are also evil characters from non-comic universes like Frankenstein, Mummy, Scream masked man and more.
To begin, you have to create a superhero or select an existing one. The customizer offers you to choose the sex of your future hero, costume options, colors, and powers. Next, you have to decide which city area you want to own and defend it from villains and other heroes. All battles and fights are propped by funny dialogues which makes the game even more entertaining.
The game has an original graphic arrangement. It doesn’t have any HD quality textures or dynamic animations but despite that, Super City still a captive one. Ragdoll heroes and villains who are randomly rushing around the screen of your smartphone are clumsy and cute. Fight scenes also made up of primitive animations. No detailed scenes or costumes, everything is smooth, yet attractive in its own way.
Super City is operated by some kind of an on-screen joystick. The left part is for direction controls, and the right screen part is for fighting and motion options. To be more specific, here’s a guide of on-screen buttons:
- A = Attack (on its own to aim low, with a direction to aim high)
- A+G = Block
- A+R = Big Attack
- G = Grapple
- P = Pick-Up / Drop (with a direction to throw)
- R = Run (double tap to jump or fly)
- R+P = Set fire
- S = Special power
- T = Taunt, use a prop, release, hold.
More hints: Hold the middle of the screen to zoom the game if needed; tap on speech bubbles if you don’t want to read them.
As you can see, the control pad is a bit complicated, but, it’s easy to remember if you play the game several times a day.
