EA SPORTS™ FIFA 20 review
FIFA 20 is a football simulation game for PlayStation 4 developed by Electronic Arts. The game became available for different platforms on the 27th of September, 2019. FIFA 20 is the 27th installment in the famous series. If you are a fan of the sports video game genre, you can download FIFA 20 for PlayStation 4.
The first thing to be mentioned in this FIFA 20 review is that the game retains its traditional values while also bringing new additions to keep things interesting for players. One of the main new features in FIFA 20 is called VOLTA Football. This game mode is all about the experience of street football as opposed to professional matches. There are several ways you can play in this mode – five vs. five, four vs. four, and three vs. three. The VOLTA mode also comes with 17 locations, including a number of cities and spots, such as a parking lot and more.
The Career mode got some changes as well, including improved customization of managers, enhanced interactions, and more. Overall, this mode wasn’t changed drastically, which is a downside as a lot of players wanted it to get better.
The mechanics of the game also improved. Now you can move with better agility and optimize your timing to get the best results. The attack control has been enhanced thanks to an additional strafe dribble and some other moves. Overall, there is even more realism and nuances when it comes to gameplay and control of the ball.
Visuals are essential and a huge part of any high-quality video game. In terms of visuals and graphics, the game looks great. At the same time, there isn’t a huge difference in terms of quality compared to the previous installment of this game. The faces of players look realistic, clear, and are totally recognizable. Other additional characters, environments, and locations are also done with attention to detail and create the right atmosphere. The playing experience is certainly pleasant thanks to its rich visual content.
Even if you have played the game before, you will need to learn some new moves. FIFA 20 brings several new control features that you should look into. They include strafe dribble, slow dribble, lofted ground pass, and driven lobbed through the pass. The shooting controls remain the same.
The controls on the PlayStation 4 work well with the game, but if you are a beginner, you will still need some time to get totally comfortable and remember everything. If the default scheme of controls doesn’t work for you, it’s possible to switch things around in the control settings of the game.
