Would You Rather? review
The description of Would You Rather?
Would You Rather claims to be a viral mobile game, the sole conception of which is this: you're given a hard question and provided with two answer options. What will your final answer be? Will your preferences shock your friends? You will know if you give this game a chance. At least once.
Would you rather bother a brother? This game is just like a social poll. Only unlike a poll, Would You Rather isn't that much bothering or bland. On the contrary: each question is a cleverly calculated dilemma with two possible answers and each of them is equally tempting to choose.
For example: Would you rather live in poverty until 80, or in wealth until 40? Would you rather get a lap dance from Melania (or maybe Donald) Trump or receive a free lifetime supply of fudge cupcakes? And so forth. As of now, the list includes a few thousand provocative questions on various topics:
- Relationship & love.
- Personal likes/dislikes.
And so on. Unfortunately, the most outrageous category Hardcore has been removed from the application+ to comply with the rules of AppStore etc.
What's even better, you can concoct your own impossible-to-answer questions and submit them to the game. At the same time to improve the quality of the game and mitigate the risk of it getting banned in application stores due to extremely offensive questions, you can flag the inappropriate ones.
You will be amazed at what a good game it might be for a party. Especially, well, if the partying crowd has gotten a little bit tipsy. You can learn a lot about your friends that you thought you've known so well before, and laugh together at their dumb, selfish, reckless decisions. Until it's your turn of course.
Every now and then your delightful survey will be interrupted by the pop-up ads. You may either banish them for roughly two bucks or ignore them for free. Yet again a dilemma that can be solved by you only.
The game really features no graphics whatsoever, except for the laconic question & two answers field. The upper answer option is dark-red, meanwhile, the lower is purple. there are three more categories: Send Your Questions, See My Questions, More Games and See My Questions may be a little bit toxic to your eyes due to the poisonous font/background color combination.
Since Would You Rather is more of an entertaining survey, having no active gameplay elements, controlling it is disgustingly easy. Tap on the answer you like most and swipe the screen to get the next one. Very simplistic.
